Education
Beatrice holds a Law degree from the Complutense University of Madrid and a Master’s in Learning and Organizational Development from Northwestern University (Kellogg School of Management) in Evanston, Illinois, where she studied with a Fulbright scholarship. Her master’s thesis explored the impact of cultural differences on strategic leadership and executive coaching.
Professional experience

Beatrice Mateo has worked in leadership development as an advisor, trainer, and coach for over 20 years, helping business leaders from various sectors face strategic challenges and change management. Her experience includes designing and implementing programs to improve individual, team, and organizational performance.
She started her career at Arthur Andersen as a change management consultant, supporting executives in implementing organizational transformation processes, such as mergers and acquisitions, technological, cultural, and market changes. Later, she worked at Andersen Worldwide’s Center for Professional Education in Chicago, USA, where she designed and delivered interpersonal development programs. During this time, she collaborated with various offices worldwide, providing training, advice, and coaching to executives in countries like India, Singapore, South Africa, the US, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Greece, Russia, and the Czech Republic.
Since 1995, Beatrice has worked as an independent consultant. She has been part of Accenture’s international consulting team, facilitating hundreds of programs in ten countries. She has also collaborated with prestigious organizations such as the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), the Executive Learning Center of Mercer Delta/Oliver Wyman, and Deloitte & Touche.
Currently, Beatrice runs her own leadership development company in Madrid, offering training and coaching to executives from various sectors. Since 2013, she has been an associate professor at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL).
